The fuzz failure comes from the test data, not from this PR. The generator fills decimal columns with values that don't fit their precision (for example `693850995` in a `Decimal32(1, 0)` column). `sum` on `main` never checks precision, but the new CAST here does, so the baseline query errors. #26774 makes the generator respect precision. With it, `test_sum` passed 20 of 20 runs on top of this PR (4 of 10 failed without it).
