@alamb I'd like to clarify two points, as I believe the reasons given for closing this PR are based on incorrect assumptions. **First, I have never submitted AI-generated PRs to external open-source projects.** Before this DataFusion PR, the only external projects I had contributed PRs to were WinUI 3 and Electrobun, and both contributions were written by me. The other PRs in my GitHub history belong to my own projects or projects I develop together with friends. I believe it is unfair to interpret these PR records as evidence that I have been submitting large numbers of AI-generated contributions to unrelated open-source projects. **Second, this PR is still a Draft, it's not marked as ready for review.** I was still working on the implementation and investigating a reproducible performance regression. I deliberately kept the PR in Draft because I had not finished validating and preparing the changes. I had not requested a review. I understand that maintainers have limited time, and I respect the project's efforts to prevent low-quality AI-generated contributions. However, I do not think it is fair to characterize an unfinished Draft PR as an undue review burden, particularly when I have been actively investigating and validating the changes myself.
