Thank you for the update Chris.  I (we) appreciate the information -
it's always good to know what's happening.  I'll keep my fingers
crossed for something soon.

When I said "almost unusable" in my post I meant it...  I tried to do
a deploy from Github and it hung for 30 minutes before I killed it.
Right now I can't deploy some important changes to my production
server...
