Hi Rodrigo, Yes it worked - on a clean install of Ubuntu 11.04 too :)
I restarted the server (both Apache service and then the machine) after the reconfiguration. It didn't make any difference. With *gitorious_client_host* set as "localhost" now; - if I turn off the HTTP vhost I get the message "Access denied or wrong repository path" - if I turn off the HTTP vhost *and* change the *gitorious_client_port* to 443 (HTTPS) I get the message "fatal error" - if I turn on the HTTP vhost and leave *gitorious_client_port* blank pushing works Still no idea how to change the hostname as reported in the merge request emails.
