Hi Andrey,

I've experienced this just now with our company's local gitorious install.
It reminded me of a similar problem I had with it when creating a new
project, it would stall with the message "This repository is being created,
it will be ready pretty soon..." and kept showing this forever.

At the time, I googled that message, and there was a site that mentioned
some 'poller' service must have crashed and you need to restart it.

I jotted down the steps I used on our system to restart it:

1) On the site's pc, become the git user. eg, "sudo su - git"
2) cd /srv/www/gitorious
3) I typed: export RAILS_ENV="production" ; script/poller run &

This solved that create-new-project problem for me. So when I experienced
this same "create-wiki" issue you mentioned, my gut feeling said to try
the same steps.

Lo and behold, once I restarted this poller, the wiki-page got created.

So it seems like this 'poller' app is crashing on our pc from time-to-time,
I'm not sure why as yet, don't have the time to chase it up or google it
either, but hopefully one day (unless someone knows more about it and can
reply here).

I do know that our pc is running a fairly old version of Gitorious.
Perhaps there's merit in upgrading, but again, don't have time to chase up
that idea right now :(

Anyway, all the best with it.

Regards,
Gurce
