Encountered a problem with installing sphinx. (CentOS 6)
sudo yum -y install sphinx
The above command does not find sphinx.
Instead I have used the source of sphinx:
wget http://sphinxsearch.com/files/sphinx-2.0.6-release.tar.gz
tar xvfz sphinx-2.0.6-release.tar.gz
cd sphinx-2.0.6-release
./configure && make && make install
cd ..
Q: Is this approach acceptable?
