Sorry for the delay...

I've done an update - reenabled LDAP authorization and things are looking good.

I was able to add groups linked to LDAP groups, those groups can be assigned 
access and it mostly appears to be working - which is great.

One odd item I'm trying to work out is that one private project is set to be 
owned by a group, but, no 'Admin' button appears for members of that group or 
members of the 'admins' group - though the members of the group are able to see 
the project, so that bit appears to be working...
