As for Johannes, I'd just like to say your opinion stinks. While you're perfectly entitled to hold such an opinion, those kinds of attitudes are the reason that open source software often has such poor usability and take-up within the broader community. It's easy to make software for yourself, however _if_ a project wants to broaden it's appeal, then you need to step outside your own little box and look around and accept that people have different needs than your own.
