Hey,

I know that in a perfect world people would ask the devs for some
obscure feature and the devs would happily go about implementing it,
even though they're never going to use it themselves. But without any
compensation you can't seriously expect people to act that way. Just
looking at git itself, I see the same philosophy: If you've got an itch,
scratch it yourself (and make sure you write a testcase).

If that's what drives then I think it great! As I said, I've found it
increasingly hard to care about users wishes when they completely
diverged from my own. All I'm saying is that people who feel that way
shouldn't back away from development but rather adopt a more selfish
point of view, if that's what keeps them here.

Hope I made myself understood ;)

Greetings,
Jojo
