Dear GKD Members, I am Pradip Har, founder of CREDITWATCH <www.creditwatchindia.net>, a non profit organisation involved in improving credit access to the poor and small business. Our initiative, though small in its present outreach, is growing fast. Various ideas received from messages posted on GKD on improving ICT access have been a significant source of inputs in giving focus to our ICT related activities. Recently we took small steps in providing email based support for designing micro-credit institutions. From April this year we are distributing an electronic monthly news letter on different elements in designing micro-credit institutions. If any member or their friends are interested, they may subscribe to the news letter from our web site and also give ideas on information needs which can be incorporated in later editions. I am posting this message to GKD members as this is the surest way of reaching large number of interested people. We shall also be glad to receive technical suggestions/support for improving our email outreach .
