Dear Angela,

Here in Brazil you may find lots of new initiatives on e-government cases.
For example, here at the Foundation that I am associated with, where I am
the project leader for a program that we call Knowledge Society Project, for
the last six or more months, we have developed a e-government program for
the State of Santa Catarina, and now, we, I meant, the government is taking
concrete steps to implement this program - known as PGC for Government
Citizen Program. The foundation is called CERTI, a R&D technology-based
organization which for the last two decades has developed many successful
projects and products, and most recently among others, the electronic voting
machine and a new concept for public web terminals. Oh, by the way, our
e-government model/program is now been contemplated by agencies of two other
states and we already began working with their respective officials.

If you think you might be interested in knowing a bit more about our work, I
am sure our PGC team will be glad to contact you and answer you any
question.

Good luck! Sincerely,

Paulo C. G. de Miranda
Leader - Knowledge Society Project
CERTI FOUNDATION
Florianpolis, SC, Brazil.
