Attached the log I promised in my comment of 11/07/07 17:25:58.
Bzip2 compressed it as the plain text was rejected by trac for being too
large. The bulk of the file seems to be the dump of the offending core.
I'm going to go see if I can repeat this bug with 6.8.1 now.
