 I'm very snowed but I'll try to look into why `-fdicts-strict` isn't
 working at the moment.  But before adding new features, or even fixing
 `-fdicts-strict`, can you say why you think this is important?  Do you
 have reason to believe that it'd make a real difference to your programs?
