More info: it seems that there are some wrinkles in the direct-daemonize,
and its maintainer is working on it.
So, from where I am sitting, there is no problem in daemonizing haskell
code (using hdaemonize) in either GHC 6.12.3 or 7.0.1-rc2, with or without
-threaded.
I think we need to confirm with reporter that he is indeed having problems
with hdaemonize and GHC 7 on MacOS.
