George, I don't think overloading list notation subsumes the !ListLayout
proposal. Unless I'm misunderstanding, the whole point of !ListLayout is
to avoid typing those extra characters. The users who want !ListLayout
don't care about overloading - they want essentially do-notation to build
lists.
I'm not saying that overloading list notation is a bad thing, just that I
don't think it addresses the issue raised here. (I'm not convinced that
the issue raised here is worth addressing, though).
