I doubt very much that you don't take *any* performance hit from using a
subsystem that provides a Unix file system view of NTFS. You also pay
a price cashwise, which is why we haven't looked into porting ghc to
it. If there's enough demand for ghc-for-openNT, maybe it's time we did..
