Hmmm, given that nobody really seems to want to talk about
the timing for Haskell 2 and there is quite some
functionality that is basic enough that it should be uniform
across systems asap, how about an approach similar to that
we are currently taking with the FFI? A group of concerned
people comes up with a specification that as many as
possible system implementors can agree on. This can, then,
also form a first proposal concerning that matter for the
Haskell 2 committee.
