You do realize that most vision plans don't realy pay anything to the Dr. for glasses.
It's a deal wereby the vision plan in effect sends lots of customers to the Dr. and in exchange the Dr agress to provide some basic glasses for free, with the hope they will buy something more expensive, which they normally do, as you did.
