I have some astigmatism but it's not enough to need special contact lenses. My Right Cylinder is -0.50 and axis is 145. My Left Cylinder is -0.75 and axis is 25. It seems like when I wear contacts it feels very sharp even on my older contacts with a weaker prescription. With glasses it sometimes feels like I can't quite make out road signs even with my most updated prescription. What other difference is there in the way that glasses and contacts affect vision? I'm thinking of ordering a pair of glasses and leaving cylinder and axis blank to see how that works out.
