Need more information. I need : 1. your age 2. EG Rx 3. CL Rx including brand, and model, bc, diam and powers.
You should be in soft CLs with that amount of cyl, not toric(astigmatic) Before you chop the cyls off your glasses, you gotta make sure what the effect will be on vision. Your glasses may be too strong and chopping the cyl might help, or too weak and even weaker without the cyl. There are many factors that differ from CLs and EGs. The CL is on the cornea and partially or fully can correct corneal astigmatism , the firmness of the CL also affects this.
