Well I also went to the DR at my local Costco (Las Vegas, Summerlin
store)

I did get the perscription, she told me the PD but didn't write it
down.
She stated many times that she was independnat, but went out of her
way to try to talk me out of buying on-line and wrote my script in a
way that made it difficult.

The only legit thing she said is that online, when you order
progressives, they just put the transistion at a fixed place, rather
than customizing it. But there was nothing on the script about that,
and I wouldn't trust the kids they have working in the optical dept.to
do anything right. So I ordered single vision glasses on-line. Some
for distance, some for computer, some for extreme close up work, and
one monovision pair.
All from Zenni all wonderful.

Although there is legally no connection betwwen the optical dept that
seels glasses, and the Dr's office. The Dr's office gets very low
rent becuase of the lucrative business done at the optical shop.

Next time I'll go to a Dr that is physically seperate and truely
independant. If I can find one.
