Greetings everyone! So happy to have found this informative board. I
am new to the online world of glasses and have a question:

I'd like to maybe, just maybe buy frames that are semi-rimless and I'd
like to know how thick my prescription would be using 1.61 or 1.67
lenses. I am so new to this all and any help would be appreciated.
Ok, here's my prescription:

       Sp. Cyl. Ax.
OD -5.50 -50 155
OS -5.50 -325 165

The OS is not a typo, it's a bad astigmatism in my left eye. So if I
order semi-reimless glasses, so I NEED to go with the 1.67? I know
thinner is always better right? But my priority is on getting a good
pair of glasses to use sporadically and not focussed on getting the
most stylish money can buy.

Thanks again. I sure hope my question makes sense.

John
