Yes ldybaroness.  Her current prescription glasses have AR, both sides.  She still has problems.  I don't know if it's her astigmatism or if she's just extra sensitive to night glare.  It's hard for me to relate as I have one of those easy prescriptions that only takes up the first column when it's filled out.   Anyway, she's convinced that the yellow glasses are the holy grail of alleviating this problem.  She even wants the "grandma frames" - as big as possible and wrap around  the sides as much as possible.

Does she have an AR coating on her lenses? I find that very beneficial
for the glare/brightness of headlights and streetlights when driving
at night.

My girlfriend has a problem with night driving.  Headlights (and
lights in general) are very bright for her.  She has a cheapie pair of
"Seen on TV" yellow glasses that she wears over her prescription
glasses currently when driving at night.  They help....somewhat.  A
proper pair of glasses with her prescription would obviously be
better.

Hopefully some other members here have bought glasses for this purpose
before and can provide some guidance.
