as far as the 'computer glasses' I ordered for myself...I followed
Chuck's advice...I don't need glasses for reading, just for distance,
so I wear single vision glasses..however, I work on two 30" Apple
Cinema HD Displays, wall mounted 2.5-3 feet in front of me..I noticed
over the last year it was starting to look a bit fuzzy, or at least I
couldn't focus on them quite as well..

so I followed Chuck's advice and went to Wally world and picked out a
pair of reading glasses in the lightest correction, put them on over
my regular glasses and tested it, then I did the next correction
increse..I found that +.75 was perfect for that distance, for me..I
added that to my regular prescription, ordered a pair from Zenni to
give it a try and for $8, I have a rather grand solution...the
displays are spot on in focus and I'm quite happy..

I ordered just simple glasses for this

and I see no need to improve on that or have multiple styles, I didn't
get AR coating because the glasses I have without it, work fine for
me...I guess I don't seem to notice or be bothered with reflections,
like some folks indeed are.. ...it works perfectly for the way I
work...so thanks Chuck, I appreciate all your knowlege that you share
here...

if I did need glasses for reading and for working at that distance, I
guess I would get bifocals with the near prescription and the mid
distance prescription...
