Eyebuydirect.com uses CR39 as their standard lens. I have one pair from them, and the lenses are CR39. However, even though the prescription is correct, the reflections off the fronts of my lenses are wavy, and I've never had any other pair do that. It's possible that the lenses are aspheric, which is not a bad thing, but maybe there's some other reason, since it's rare to get very inexpensive glasses with aspheric lenses.
