Father time is starting to catch up to me. I've been using drugstore readers for a few years. Unfortunately, I am starting to loose my distance vision. I 've just gotten my first pair of prescription glasses. They were progressive lens glasses from Lenscrafters. It seemed to me that the reading zone? of the glasses was too small. I couldn't read a line of 8 1/2 x 11 text without moving my head. I ordered a backup pair from Zenni and the reading range seemed more appropriate.
How large should the reading are be when using progressives?
