I recommend trying one of the name brand frames in titanium if you're having problems with low-cost frames falling apart.
Several good websites have name brand frames for a big discount over retail. I have two pair of Nike Flexon titanium frames that have been very solid over the past 3 years or sometimes rough abuse. Try Coastal Contacts: https://www.coastalcontacts.com/search.ep?keyWords=nike&x=0&y=0&productcode= Use the Glassyeyes discount code: GLASSYEYESNEW and the standard lenses and you'll get them for under $100 shipped. Some people either because of their prescription or usage, just aren't good candidates for low-cost glasses. Ebay is another good choice for finding name brands for less, try this store for Nike Flexon frames: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/JAZZ-YOUR-EYES_NIKE-FLEXON-FRAMES_W0QQ_fsubZ11QQ_sidZ37243875QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em322 - you would still need to get lenses installed, which is a hassle, but it's another option.
