Just a couple of comments. I think titanium should also be non-
corroding. I too get tired of the green crud accumulating around the
nosepieces, even with a gold-filled frame.

The lens height of the frame you mentioned is very small (25mm), and
that can accentuate the appearance of one side being a tiny bit higher
than the other side on your face. It's not unusual to have tiny
asymmetries on your head that make it a little tricky to get the frame
seated just right. I'm often finding myself fiddling with the nose
pieces and ear pieces, and sometimes making things worse, then
reversing my steps in the hopes of finally getting the frame level.
