You can't get an absolutely certain view of how the glasses will look on your face from the virtual try-on instrument but mine was actually pretty close (I ordered from the same site as you). Did you input your PD and get the rulers and put them right over your pupils? Another thing you could do is go to a physical store and ask to just try on some frames and specify that you won't be buying any that day. Most should allow you to do that; they did for me. You can get an idea of the measurements (printed on the arms) and what style looks best on you. Then find that general style/measurement online. Good luck to you.
