Thanks for answering - in spite of several hours of reading, all this
info is still quite new to me! My current glasses are
 41 mm wide and about 33 mm high (tall?). As far as can tell, they're
very thin, probably no more than 4mm at their thickest part, which is
by where the temple part starts. Is there anyway of finding out how
thick glasses will be BEFORE buying them?
