I placed an order for new lenses on an existing frame on June 18th,
made payment and mailed the frames that day.

GlobalEyeglasses received the frames on June 20th.  Via live chat I
checked on the order status around July 10th and was told they were in
progress.

I emailed again on July 13th and received a reply on July 17th that
the glasses were in their main lab and in progress.

Requested information via chat again on July 20th (a full 30 days
since they received the frames) and was told that they were still in
progress. Apparently the lenses were damaged during fitting to the
frames.

I asked when I should expect to receive them or when I should inquire
again about their status, she advised I should check back in on July
27th for a status update.

Their website claims a turnaround time: "Average time of Lens
Replacement Service is 4-12 days from the time we receive your
eyeglasses."

That's my experience thus far... will advise when/if I ever receive
the frames and will report back on their quality.
