Well, some people can do all three things without glasses.

Why don't you post your prescription? That would give a better idea of
how much correction is needed and why stepping back a couple of feet
makes such a big difference.

Without seeing that, I would suppose that some kind of progressive
lens would do it. Or get a cheap pair of single vision glasses ($10 or
so) with a strength in between driving and screen-gazing.
