Computer glasses are either single prescription glasses set for the distance you're at the computer, or they're multi-focal glasses with one part set for computer distance. If the ADD on your new glasses isn't too weak for seeing the screen, you could use it to make a single vision computer prescription of (L) -5.00 (R) -5.50, and no change to the CYL part. Use a PD of about 66. If the ADD part is too weak, try an ADD of about +1.00. It depends a lot on how far you are from the screen, and I favor a distance prescription just strong enough to see the screen comfortably. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Check us out at the oft-updated http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com!
