I've been looking through the different stores... I seem to be kind of
divided between Zenni and Coastal Contacts.

What I'm searching for is a set of rimless and hingeless frames. I
spend most of my time at the computer, and I've had a pair that have
survived for three years now. No screws = no hinges falling apart,
lighter, and in my opinion more elegant / less visible than full frame
glasses. I'd prefer a black frame and a close to rectangular/angular
lens rather than oval. Borrowing this from Zenni, I would want
something like #346...

I live in BC, which if I'm not mistaken is where Coastal Contacts is
located. Coastal Contacts allows for a higher indexed lens, up to
1.74 whereas Zenni is 1.67.. Would there even be a visible difference
in lens diameter?

        SPH CYL AXIS
OD -5 -1.5 5
OS -6 -1.5 15

I've heard mixed ratings about Zenni, either about low quality or
problems in shipping.. stuff like that. Coastal Contacts seems to be
sound...

The type of frame I'm looking for (same as the ones I have now) would
be something like this:

Closest I could find on Zenni is this:

(what's with the stripe on the ear band thing?)
http://zennioptical.com/cart/product.php?productid=472#largeimage

The frames from Coastal Contacts is titanium, whereas Zenni is
stainless steel... not sure if that makes any difference... I e-
mailed Coastal Contacts asking if they allow for choosing the frame
colour or lens shape, I got this in response (as if this were a
navigation issue..):
________________________
Frame lens and the color of the frame is all set and standard on the
particular model, but we do offer a wide variety of different rimless
frames on our website.

On the eye glasses page you can click on rimless frames and all the
selection that we offer would be available.
______________

Anyway... any ideas on how I could get both the frames and lenses I
want? How should I base my decision..? Pricewise... CC came out to
about $120 and Zenni to about $75....
