I can only speak to my own experience and opinions about both Zenni and Coastal Contacts:
I find Zenni to be excellent value for money, however my three pairs of glasses from them, including one rimless pair are of the lowest quality of all my (12) glasses. I found the rimless lenses to be thicker than my other 1.67 lenses of the same size and the frame is extremely flimsy compared to my silhouette's from eight years ago. If you want the cheapest available option and are not so picky about quality, then you likely will be fine with Zenni. I now have two pairs from Coastal Contacts. I find them to be the best quality glasses I own. I recently bought a 1.74 index rimless pair, with a brand name frame and I am extremely impressed. First, CC offers 1.74 for the lowest price of any place I have seen, online of off. Second, they sell brand name frames. Which in my experience makes a significant difference in quality, especially when choosing rimless frames. No extra charges for A/R, no extra charges for drill mounting, no extra charges for higher prescription - none of the other places can come close. And, it only took nine days from order to receipt - by far the best of any of my glasses, which normally take 3-5 weeks. In short, if you value quality, want 1.74 lenses and appreciate the lowest prices and service , then Coastal Contacts should be your choice. J.
