I have tiny marks (letters) on my progressives I purchased from a B&M
store. I always assumed they had more to do with optical center etc
to ensure I could see properly out of them than any sort of
trademark.
Mine never wore off. In fact, I scratched them pretty bad somehow and
nothing happened to the small marks.
