aw, You're right that many online places are terribly deficient when listing frame dimensions. There should be standards that include not only the lens width, nose bridge and temple length but also the total front width and lens height. There should also be standardized dimensions for them all - meaning, what is the nose bridge width, the inside dimension at the widest point - what about the dimension between the lenses for a rimless frame? - We need standardization.
I think this group should use it's influence to help establish minimum dimension standards across the industry. After all, for many of us, prescription eyeglasses are not a fashion statement but a prosthetic that requires a proper fit. J.
