Another pissed off optician. I guess I would have asked him to point
out WHY the lenses were not well mounted and have him show you an
example from his store of a pair of rimless glasses with the lenses
mounted correctly. I bet you would find they use identical methods.

The little cracks in the plastic could simply be air trapped during
the molding process and absolutely nothing to worry about. I presume
the frames are made of nylon; there is no need to worry about them
breaking. Again, you could have done yourself a huge favor and
examined some plastic frames in his store for "cracks". I bet you
would have found the same thing.

Anyway, the test of the glasses will be how long they last for the
money you spent. And you seemed quite satisfied with them until you
saw your optician:
