UPDATE - finally received the glasses. I was told the lenses would be upgraded and they would be shipped overnight to make up for the long delay. Yeah... didn't get either. Other than the frames being slightly bent, the glasses were okay.
I'll probably wait a year and try again. I'm sure this whole series of problems must be a fluke - many others seem to have had good experiences with them.
