Hi!I wear Transitions and love them! Yes, it is true that when driving, my glasses are not as dark, but they are darker than when I am indoors. It doesn't bother me. I'd rather deal with that then have to worry about keeping up with 2 pairs of glasses. Rosalyn

Since car windshields contain a UV blocker, they respond considerably less, when inside the car. There is another variety called Drivewear, which consists of several coatings, one of which reacts to light, rather than UV...but I've not seen them in person. There have been limited discussions about these lenses, on the forum, but what little information there is, should be in the archives. If it was me, I'd get photochromics put into a frame that has a magnetic clip on. That way you get the best of both worlds. -- Chuck Knight On Wed, Sep 30, 2009 at 7:31 PM, Sleepybears <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello, > > I'm thinking about ordering a prescription photochromic glasses > (single vision) from gogles4u.
