I just get different single prescriptions for different uses - driving, computer, etc. Even a few pairs of online glasses should cost quite a bit less than one "complete" pair at a local store. I think my last prescription had an ADD of +1.50, but I never got bifocals. I usually don't wear any glasses when I read. If I do, they're often my weakest pair, which is more than 2.00 weaker than my full prescription.
If you experiment with your full -8.00 prescription and a try a few pairs of dollar store reading glasses placed in front of them, you can probably figure out the single prescription or two that would work for fly fishing. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Check us out at the oft-updated http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com!
