Can you get a plastic frame with adjustable nose pads? Wider bridges are pretty hard to find. Have you generally had trouble with an average size bridge such as 18 mm?
I think you also need to take into account the total width of the frame. If the frame is too narrow, the temples will get bent out of shape.
