I have never used progressives (at least not yet) but I got my father a pair of progressives from 39dollarglasses.com and they are perfect. The customer service is awesome as they helped every step of the way. The prices weren't too bad either. My father was an online sceptic but I guess I showed him. I can recommend CoastalContacts for single vision because they have great prices and they have a great 30 day return policy (they pay for shipping back). I have used Goggles4u but it's hit or miss with them. I think the prices they have for progressives are too steep, especially for the lenses that they use. I highly recommend CoastalContacts for single vision.
On a side note, I noticed that 39dollarglasses was the only place that could do a progressive with a reading segment my step-mother required. Most of the online places start the reading segment at +3.0. Does anyone know of a place that does lower prescriptions on progressives?
