Bullet875; I wondered if they were private owned too, but I was able to use my Walmart credit card there so I guessed not.
As far as glaucoma, I had a similar experience but not at Walmart. I have insurance through my husband and we go to a chain for our exams and glasses. I also go to a opthamologist (at the time every 2 years) because I get optic migraines and my mother had glaucoma. I have been going to the same opthamologist for over 10 years. I always made both appointments around the same time. No one ever said anything to me about glaucoma at either offices until my last time at the eye doctor back in September. He asked if I was still seeing the opthamologist. I said yes. He said have them check for glaucoma. He said my numbers were off and he was thinking I might have the beginning of glaucoma. So 3 days later I go to the opthamologist. I tell him what the eye doctor said. For 2 1/2 hours, I am run through tests you wouldnt believe! The opthamologist said my lenses are thicker than normal. HE knew that but the eye doctor didnt. The eye doctor only does the one test for glaucoma so he would never have found that out. I have to go back in 6 months to get tested again and then yearly because now Im at that "age". On Nov 3, 12:13 pm, Bullet875 <[email protected]> wrote: > That's great to hear!
