I know 140mm is the standard average length at most dispensing opticians and most online vendors, just take a look at EyeBuyDirect and Zenni etc..., since most keep a physical inventory of the frames and a shorter temple would could delay or break a sale$$$, so most will stock a longer temple length that they can bend if needed. At most dispensing opticians, right after the Rx, they are encouraged to select a frame to seal the deal or else the customer will go somewhere else if an appropriate frame is not found.
