Hey guys. I just found this forum and thought I would post my
experiences as a newbie to the online glasses world.

I bought 2 sets the same day, one from Zenni one from 39dollar glasses

PRICES (shipped to Canada)

Zenni - $24, 39dollarglasses $69 (AR coating added)

SHIPPING

Both orders took exactly 10 days to arrive.

QUALITY:

I bought a similar frame style from both retailers.

When it comes to the frames, the ones from 39dollarglasses are far
superior. But, I seem to be having an issue with the lenses that I
can't seem to put my finger on. They appear ok, and I don't see
distortion, but things just don't look 'right'. I may have to test
out their return policy.

The frames from Zenni are 'good' considering they are a $12 frame.
They are about what I expected, where the frames from 39dollar far
exceeded my expectations. With proper care I don't think anything
major will go wrong with them, but they just aren't in the same class
as the others.

The lenses in the Zenni glasses, while being lower spec than the
39dollar ones on paper, are perfect.

EXTRAS

39dollarglasses glasses came with a nice case, screwdriver, and cloth.
Zenni came with just a really crappy plastic holding case.

CONCLUSION

I may send the glasses back to 39dollarglasses to get them to inspect
them. The frames are fantastic, and the customer service has been
great.

It would be hard not to recommend Zenni based on my experience. I may
try a more expensive frame from them in the future to see if it's a
little more durable. But again, for $24 I can't complain too much.

NOTES

There is one thing I am trying to figure out that maybe some members
can help me with. ALL my glasses in the past, and my Zenni ones
(which are all very similar styles) all have a 'bend' to them. EG
they curve/wraparound to my face a little. My sunglasses are the
same way. The 39dollarglasses ones are completely flat though. I
was wondering if that could be having any effect on what I am
seeing? As mentioned, the problem is hard to explain. There is no
distortion or no doubling at all. Something just seems off. So I was
wondering if this could be contributing to it.
