I finally took up all the great advice on GlassyEyes and did the online thing.
I ended up getting two pair of glasses from EyeBuyDirect. They look good, but I'm having an issue with the lenses. I talked with EBD chat support (always nice) and they seem willing to do a return for replacement, but the person I chatted with wasn't really able to tell me what might be wrong. The best I can explain it is that the right eye seems to shift the angle. Looking through each lens individually, they seem correct, and definitely let me see clearly. However, looking through them both the right eye feels off and I quickly get a headache trying to focus. It feels a bit like wearing someone else's glasses. What I think *might* be the issue is my pupil distance. When I put the glasses on, and look above the lenses at a distant object, then raise my head so I'm looking through the lenses, the left eye just gets clear. The right eye gets clear, but the image is shifted slightly to the right. It's as if the right lens is angled incorrectly. Would this be a symptom of improper PD? Or perhaps a symptom of something else? I'm glad EBD is willing to replace the glasses, but there probably isn't much point if I can't tell them what's wrong with the current pair properly.
