This is actually my second time purchasing glasses online. My first time I tried Eyebuydirect with their buy 1 get 1 free sale, and was very disappointed with them. One of the glasses had the wrong prescription and the other was advertised incorrectly with a lens height of 24mm when actually it was 28mm. I decided to not make another purchase there again.
Because of my experiences with Eyebuydirect, I decided to look for a dealer with a good reputation of having lenses of the correct prescription. I constantly read on the forums that Zenni lenses are spot on with prescription. So on Jan 1, I order these frames, costing me less than $20 with shipping included: http://zennioptical.com/cart/product.php?productid=1656&cat=14&page=1 On Jan 11, I received an email that my packaged was shipped On Jan 14, I received my glasses. My initially response, these glasses are great! The prescription is perfect. The dimensions are exactly as advertised.In addition, the frames are far more sturdier that I thought they would be for $8. The only thing that was bad was that on the top and bottom of temple arms, there were some white streaks of paint I don't believe were part of the design because they were asymmetric. But that is such a small detail, because since it is on the top and bottom of the arms, it is almost impossible for someone to see it. Another thing if someone decides to order the same frames as I, the bottom corners of the lenses pop inward slightly such as these frames: http://zennioptical.com/cart/product.php?productid=290&cat=22&page=1 But the lenses are still surrounded by another rim unlike the example. So it isn't noticeable from the front and from the side it is only about a 1 mm difference compared to traditional glasses frame. Overall, I am very happy with my Zenni order, the glasses surpassed my expectations and were only $20 including shipping! I would look toward them again for a second purchase.
