I'm looking for advice on online glasses purchase. I am complete
appalled by the prices being charged for glasses through "boutique"
shops. I was quoted $310 (after EyeMed insurance was applied) for a
pair of Oakley Intervene 4.0 frames and lenses (1.67 with Anti-
Reflective, Anti-Scratch and UV coatings). One pair of glasses!
$310!

I've got a wide face (current glasses: 140mm wide frame, 140mm long
frame, 52mm wide lens, 27mm tall lens and 19mm bridge). I would
really like to get two pairs of daily wear (rimless titanium and the
other a full frame...can be steel, titanium, flexible material) and
one pair of sunglasses (heard there are limitations on thickness and
the ability to get polarized lenses). Oh yeah, I have a mild nickel
allergy. Any recommend any good companies? Any discounts would be
great as well...
