I really like the idea that if you a buy a pair they'll send one to
the developing world--that's cool.

I liked the men's offerings a lot more than the women's. I just
didn't think the hipster women's styles were attractive. Don't get me
wrong--I've bought plenty of quirky glasses online (thanks
goggles4u!), but I don't like the idea of spending *too* much money
when there's a chance they'll make me look like a whack-a-doo. I did
kind of like a few of the more sedate women's styles, but I feel like
39dollarglasses has frames that are pretty similar to those and a lot
cheaper.

I guess I feel like buying glasses online is inherently a bit of a
gamble. I'm lucky to be in a position where I don't have to feel too
guilty if I spend $30 on a pair that ends up in a drawer or a Lion's
Club box. But for $95 I could go to a For Eyes or America's Best, try
on frames, and get assistance if there's a problem.
